WHAT STAYS WHEN EVERYTHING CHANGES
Hi I’m Scott.
If you’re returning to this space, welcome back. If you’re new, I’m grateful you found your way here.
This is where we pause together—to reflect, to root deeper, and to remember that growth often begins in the moments we least expect.
WHAT STAYS WHEN EVERYTHING CHANGES
Change used to terrify me.
The unknown felt like a loss—a tearing away of what I knew how to hold.
But over time, I’ve learned that change doesn’t erase who we are.
It reveals who we’re becoming.
When life shifts—relationships end, plans fall through, identities evolve—there’s a quiet truth waiting underneath the noise:
Not everything has to stay the same for you to be safe.
Sometimes, what’s breaking is just making room for something more aligned.
“TRANSFORMATION ISN’T ABOUT BECOMING SOMEONE NEW. IT’S ABOUT REMEMBERING WHO YOU’VE BEEN ALL ALONG.”
We tend to grieve the versions of ourselves that change leaves behind.
But what if they’re not gone?
What if they’re simply resting—making space for a wiser, softer part of you to take the lead?
Change is the body’s way of saying: It’s time to move differently.
Not faster, not harder—just with more awareness of what truly matters.
THIS SPACE, AND WHAT YOU’LL FIND HERE
Each week, I share reflections and practices to help you anchor in the middle of transition.
These words aren’t about reinventing yourself—they’re about remembering your strength in the spaces between.
You don’t have to have it figured out.
You just have to stay open.
A 3-MINUTE GROUNDING PRACTICE
Sit with both feet on the ground.
Breathe in for 4, hold for 2, out for 6. Repeat six times.
Name three things you’re grateful for exactly as they are.
Now repeat this weekly phrase:
“What in me is ready to be seen and softened today?”
Take one small action that honors that answer.
THE QUESTION TO CARRY THIS WEEK
What are you holding onto that’s ready to become something new?
And what part of you already knows how to let go?
You don’t have to rush your becoming.
You only have to trust the unfolding.
